The journey today was very pleasant arriving at Camp Faibo at 2:45 PM. We got the Winnebago settled and did some serious relaxing. At 6:30 PM, after a great Copper River Salmon dinner, we drove to the home of our friends Ken & Kay Heiskari for a visit. Our friends Neil & Leah Boyd stopped by at 9:30 PM on their way home from Minneapolis and returned to the Winnebagoto stay with us for the night.
In the morning I made a delicious bacon and egg (with fried tomatos) breakfast on my gas camping stove on the picnic table. Neil and Leah left at 10:00 AM and after cleaning up we joined Ken & Kay for lunch at the Depot Bar & Grill in Faribault. Four freight trains went by while we were having lunch.

The afternoon was dedicated to updating the two websites for which I am webmaster. Thankfully the wifi connection at Camp Faribo works pretty well and I was able to update the websites and catch up on this blog.
We were back at Ken & Kay's at 6:00 PM for dinner, conversation, a walk and a rousing game of Canasta. Ken and I came in second but sadly Kay and Mary came in next to last. The tradition of playing Canasta together goes back almost 50 years.
We bid farewelll to the Heiskari's at 11:00 PM and headed back to the Winnebago.
