Ashland

On Wednesday, 24 July we loaded up the Winnebago and headed for Ashland, Wisconsin with Don at the wheel. It was a pleasant change to me to sit in the co-pilot's seat and look at the scenery.

After a lunch stop at the Brule River we continued on to Ashland arriving at 2:30 PM. Once the Winnebago was settled in to our lake front RV site we drove to the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center just outside of town. They have great exhibits about life on the Great Lakes and a bunch of nature trails.

After a great dinner of brats and grilled sweet corn Don and I went to the harbor to capture the sunset.
